History The first Gamblers Anonymous (GA) meeting in Australia was held by Phillip S. in Surry Hills on November 25, 1961 and was attended by him and three other compulsive gamblers. Today there are approximately 130 Gamblers Anonymous (GA) meetings held each week across Australia.
